On the Asian side of the Bosphorus and down some narrow streets is Ciya, considered one of the best and most interesting restaurants in Istanbul. They have three locations on the same street (two of them just serve kebabs) - go to the one that has salads, stews, vegetables, desserts etc. The chef/owner Musa Dagdeviren is one of the most famous chefs in Turkey. He travels the country for forgotten recipes and serves traditional Turkish cooking you won’t find anywhere else. It’s amazing!
