On Cunda Island just near Ayvalik, we had one of the lovliest meals on this trip. We had just toured the artisanal olive oil producers at Kursat who took us to this very special restaurant where a mother and daughter cook exclusively with olive oil. Fried local mushrooms, eggplant fritters, stuffed calamari, wild herb stuffed flaky pastries, fresh sea urchin, seafood casserole and delicious poached quince and pumpkin for dessert.
