CARAMELIZED ONIONS

There are so many ways to make caramelized onions but this is our favourite. You can make a big batch and freeze them in 1/2 cup portions so that you always have some on hand. They are a great addition to pizzas, grilled cheese sandwiches, on top of steaks or even meatloaf, as a garnish on soups, in omelets or quiche and lots more.
