In this virtual world of "dot coms" and cyberspace, every once in a while it's nice to give your employees something they can actually touch, handle, sink their teeth into. What about FOOD? Like music, art and fashion, these days everyone needs to know about food. Food is fun, food is rewarding, food is delicious, and believe it or not, food can help you achieve your corporate mission and goals. Classes are held in a warm, friendly kitchen studio in the heart of Toronto. Participation classes, in which students get to roll up their sleeves and do some serious cooking, can accommodate up to 24 people (minimum of 12). Demonstration classes, in which students sit back, relax, and watch as Bonnie prepares recipes, demonstrates techniques, and shares her vast knowledge of food, can accommodate up to 30 people (minimum of 16). At the end of both types of classes, everyone gets to enjoy the fruits (and vegetables and roasted meats and desserts) of their labours. It's personal enrichment and a good meal rolled into one. How does it work?Bonnie will personally discuss with you what type of class best suits your needs. Then she and her staff will organize a program and menu that will be appropriate. Depending on availability, classes can be planned as far ahead as a year in advance or as close as within a few weeks. Depending on the style of class and arrangements that have been made, on the day of the class, students arrive at the school for an hors d'oeuvre reception. After a brief demo, if it is a participation class, students get to work right away. Everyone leaves well fed and with a lot of food for thought. What if we want something special?Arrangements can be made for all types of unique and special programs. Bonnie's network of experts stretches into a variety of different fields. The possibilities are truly only limited by your imagination (and your budget). Take Home PresentsWith over 500,000 copies of Bonnie's cookbooks in print, including the new "HeartSmart” and the award winning "Bonnie Stern's Essentials of Home Cooking", you won't want to miss out. Bonnie Stern aprons, cookbooks, Bonnie's favourite cookware and custom gift baskets are available for your group to take away with them. Of course everyone gets a copy of the recipes, but why stop there? Classes are priced by the event. A deposit is required upon booking. |
